The day in the life of an event planner. Yesterday I did a beautiful wedding at Temple Emanu-el and I thought I would share just a few of the tidbits of the day. As an event planner I have so many responsibilities on the day of the wedding. Here is a glimpse of just a few of those tasks, when I arrived I placed reserved signs on all of the chairs for the bridal party and honoured guests, I then set up the place card table and checked and double checked all of the table counts, gave my input on decorating the wedding cake with florals, then distributed each bouquet and pinned on every boutenniere, after that I placed a notions basket in the washrooms (I always provide a list to my clients of what can be included in this basket and the guests love it). I sent everyone down the aisle, then we had a lively horah, followed by a dinner buffet, and ended the night with the throw bouquet. All in all it was a beautiful but jam packed day.
